The Arizona Language Center provides Workplace Spanish courses for employees and offers classes for staff members with beginner to advanced language skills in Spanish.

Workplace Language training classes emphasize using the Spanish language at the job site.

Workplace Language courses train Spanish that can be customized to meet the needs of each individual company, be it Law Enforcement, Medical, Public Service or private sector business.

Workplace Language training can include the specific business vocabulary and terminology used in each industry! These courses advance basic understanding of company-specific procedures, promote safety through better understanding and improve Spanish communication in the workplace with co-workers, managers and supervisors.

All Workplace Language courses are adapted to schedules suitable for individual organizations and may include the following areas of focus:

- Verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding directions and company information
- Understanding work and safety procedures
- Filling out workplace forms
- Sales and marketing terms (if required)

Workplace Language courses are arranged for individuals or small groups and are provided at the job-site facility. Convenient and flexible class times for participants allow learning to occur at a pace that is just right for each company. Qualified Spanish instructors monitor student progress from a preliminary evaluation exam to an exit evaluation utilizing competency scales with ongoing evaluation. The Arizona Language Center’s Workplace Language courses include a complimentary Evaluation Exam to determine each student’s language skill level. Students are grouped according to their skill level and learn together.
